We started as Dance Dads NZ — a community of dance parents who understand the joy (and the cost!) of raising a dancer. Through conversations with hundreds of families across Australia and New Zealand, one thing became clear: there had to be a better way to give stunning costumes a second life.
What We Believe
Every dancer deserves to feel confident on stage — regardless of their family's budget. Dance costumes are works of art, and they deserve more than one performance. By connecting buyers and sellers across Australia and New Zealand, we are creating a circular economy for dance that benefits families, studios, and the planet.
How It Works
Sellers list their costumes in under two minutes. Buyers search and filter by genre, size, colour, and price. Payments are handled securely through the platform, and sellers receive their funds once the buyer confirms receipt. It is that simple.

The Costume Loop is proudly built by the team behind Dance Dads NZ — a community that knows firsthand what it takes to support a young dancer. We are not a faceless tech company. We are parents, just like you, who believe dance should be accessible to everyone.
The Problem
Dance costumes are beautiful, expensive, and barely worn. Every competition season, families spend hundreds of dollars on costumes worn just one to three times before being tucked away in a wardrobe.
